Scouting Magazine is published by the Boy Scouts of America six times a year. It is mailed to about
one million readers. They use four to six cartoons per issue. Humor should be seen through the eyes
of adults: volunteer leaders or parents of Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts. You should avoid stereotypes,
and in particular the fat Scoutmaster leading a brood of young Scouts through the woods. No smoking,
hunting or cruelty. Cartoons can feature uniformed Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts but be sure you know
what the current uniform looks like, and you are familiar with the Scouting program.
Pays $75 on acceptance for first publication rights.
