American Libraries is published 10 times a year by the American Library Association (ALA), an
organization founded in 1876 and states as it's mission: "provides leadership for the development,
promotion and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship
in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all."
This magazine has a circulation of about 64,000. They use cartoons related to library interests. Cartoonists wishing to sell here should avoid cliches and librarian stereotypes.
