The Mountain Astrologer advertises themselves as "the best astrology magazine in the world." It's published six times a year, bi-monthly. They say "Each issue has approximately 10 feature articles, plus columns, forecasts, and Article Particles - a forum for new ideas or brief responses to published articles. Our article mix is designed to please professional astrologers as well as students at many levels of expertise." The editor told me that you would need to be an astrologer to come up with ideas and captions. If you have any expertise in this area, you may want to submit here.

Concerning cartoons they say: "Cartoons are also accepted. They do not require a query letter and should be submitted in a final form. Please mark on the envelope what you are submitting." There was no mention of how much they pay.
